WHAT TO EXPECT: High School Sailing is run like an after-school sport. Monday and Friday practices are led by coaches and waterfront staff and consist of briefings, drills, games, and racing on the water. Practice is primarily sailed in dinghies (FJs and 420s). Sailors from multiple schools will be combined based on skill level, have an opportunity to sail with different partners, and may be able to register for regattas as part of a composite team. SUNY Maritime College provides everything needed to participate in practice including sailboats, coaches, safety boats, and life jackets. High School Sailing is co-ed and open to both individuals and teams.

LOCATION: McMurray Hall on SUNY Maritime College's campus at 6 Pennyfield Avenue, Bronx, NY 10465. Public transit and free on-street parking are available.
